PSA Produces Nitrogen Machine
The PSA nitrogen generator is one of the BJATL group of equipment designed for mechanical cleaning of oil storage tanks in order to drain the oxygen content of the tanks. With air as raw material and carbon molecular sieve as adsorbent, the principle of pressure swing adsorption (PSA) is used to selectively adsorb air with molecular sieve full of micropores, so as to achieve the purpose of oxygen and nitrogen separation. The separation effect of carbon molecular sieve on oxygen and nitrogen in the air is mainly based on the different diffusion rates of these two gases on the surface of carbon molecular sieve. Gas molecules with smaller diameter (O2) are diffused faster and enter more carbon molecular sieve micropores. The larger diameter gas molecules (N2) diffuse slowly and enter the carbon molecular sieve with fewer micropores, so that nitrogen can be enriched in the gas phase. Therefore, the use of carbon molecular sieve adsorption of oxygen and nitrogen in a certain time of the difference in the characteristics of the automatic control system according to a specific time program combined with pressure adsorption, atmospheric pressure analysis of the cycle process to complete the separation of oxygen and nitrogen, so as to obtain high purity of the finished nitrogen.
